ChloŽ Potter is a young professional British composer, sound designer and multi-instrumentalist (performing before her Majesty the Queen on multiple occasions), known for her intricate scoring, immersive and evocative sound design, and unique compositional knowledge in multiple genres and styles of music.
Trained at the 'Guildhall School of Music and Drama' (London - BMus Hons), ChloŽ now works from her own fully equipped studio with top industry equipment, sound libraries and software.
With a background as a multi-instrumentalist, ChloŽ initially began scoring projects for youtube which quickly lead to a demand for her work.†Scoring for multiple short films and documentaries, ChloŽ has a rapidly expanding portfolio of acclaimed work. She has received commissions from a diverse array of ensembles (from jazz choirs to big bands and full orchestras) and from multiple prestigious clients, including the London 2012 Olympic Games and Sony Music.
ChloŽís varied career as a multi-instrumentalist (all saxophones, clarinets, flute, piano) has seen her perform at the top concert venues in the UK, and awarded her a unique first-hand knowledge and intimate understanding of the subtleties of the orchestral / band palette, sound manipulation and complex scoring techniques. This real-time training in multiple genres of music allows her†to compose with a varied musical dexterity, from emotive orchestral emotional cues and period / stylistically appropriate songs, to full dramatic action scoring, world music, pop, jazz and everything in between.†
